This is a multi-layered artwork. The base layer is created by pressing pigment between the art plane and a smooth surface. The design directs the artwork. The next step is to add the tree figures. The leaves are added by negative painting. Water soluble oil pastel is used to add shading. Acrylic markers are used to add the dotted detail.
